How we evaluate software and disclose affiliate commissions
Our comparisons are organized around the work a trade business needs software to handle. We show what the available sources establish, keep gaps visible, and avoid treating an unknown as a negative or a recommendation.
Compare the work, not just the feature list
We group information by practical workflows and trade-specific fit. The current plumbing comparison draft is organized around these areas:
Scheduling & dispatch
Scheduling, crew dispatch, and route details stated in the available material.
Trade fit
Whether a source describes workflows and features relevant to the trade.
Price books & customer visibility
Mobile price-book details and what a source says customers can see.
Business fit & disclosed prices
Stated business-size positioning and exact prices only when supported.
These are comparison dimensions, not claims that a vendor has a particular feature. We do not rank or recommend a product when the available evidence does not support that conclusion.
Sources, facts, and unknowns
Source notes in the current draft point to vendor-published product and feature pages, educational material, and product-information pages. The comparison uses those notes to trace where a detail was reported; a numbered note alone does not confirm that a statement is complete, current, or independently verified.
We distinguish supported details from gaps. The draft uses “Unknown in the supplied findings” when its research packet did not establish an answer. Unknown does not mean that a feature is absent. Prices, offers, and capabilities are not inferred from silence or generalized marketing language.
In a published guide, a supported detail should stay close to what its cited source says and carry a corresponding source note. If a source has not been checked or does not establish the detail, we keep it labeled as unverified or unknown instead of presenting it as a confirmed capability.
The current plumbing comparison is an unpublished draft. Its vendor facts and source notes have not cleared the verification and publication checks, so they should not be read as confirmed product claims.
Affiliate disclosure
How commissions may work
Readers pay software vendors for subscriptions. Qualifying purchases may earn TradeStack AI recurring commissions.
When an affiliate link is used, we will identify it and disclose any vendor relationship that has been verified. A listing does not by itself mean a vendor partnership, discount, or special offer is in place.
The current comparison draft has no active affiliate links or monetized vendor listings. No vendor offer or partner term has been verified for that draft.
